invited to these events are from nominations sent to us and also from selections
at the State and Regional Showcases held in June.

Blue-Grey Classic
Villanova Showcase (The Villanova field is located off campus in Plymouth Meeting PA) – June 12th Only – Two Session 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM - This event is designed for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania prospects. Those who compete will have an opportunity to advance to one of our full Blue-Grey Classics in August.

Sox)
Blue-Grey Showcase – June 28, 29 & 30
- The Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in Lowell Massachusetts. One of
the class minor league complexes in the country. Many of the current players
from the 2007 World Champion Red Sox have played at this venue. This event is
designed for New England and New York prospects. Those who compete in one of
the three days above, will advance to the Best of New England Classic or other
Classics in August.

University of Cincinnati –July 31st & August 1st - Features players from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and surrounding states selected from tryouts and nominations. The new baseball stadium is one of the top complexes in the country. Last year there were 41 colleges who attended and 7 Major League teams.

Mid Tennessee State - Tennessee Classic – July 31st & August 1st This is our 5th year holding this event. Prospects from East, Mid and West Tennessee as well as Kentucky, Alabama and the Mid West will compete. Last year 42 colleges attended as well as 8 Major League Teams.

Trenton Thunder – New Jersey (New York Yankee AA)
– August 3 & 4
This Northeast Classic
will feature Team New Jersey, Team New York, Team New
England, Team Mid America, Team Mid Atlantic and Team Pennsylvania.

Coastal Carolina University, SC - August 7 & 8. Now in it’s 10th year featuring prospects from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, the Northeast and beyond. Last year there were 41 colleges and 12 Major League Teams in attendance to recruit our prospects.

North Carolina Classic (formerly the Wake Forest Classic) Site: Greensboro Grasshoppers – Session I - August 17 & 18. Session II August 19 & 20. Now in its eighteenth year, the event attracts over seventy colleges from the Mid-South Region as well scouts from most major league teams. Team New England, Team Pennsylvania, Team Southeast, Team North Carolina, Team Florida, Team Mid West and Team Mid Atlantic will compete.

Seminole CC, Sanford, FL – August 7th & 8th
This event features 100 of the top prospects representing 15 States. There were over 40 colleges and Pro Scouts in attendance last year.

Erie Sea Wolves – PA - August 7 & 8. Perhaps the top AA Ball Park in the country. Located in Lake Erie area of summer fun. Now in it’s second year, the event drew 34 colleges and 8 Pro Teams last year.

Best of New England Classic - Lowell Spinners (Red Sox) Blue-Grey Classic– August 25 & 26 - The Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in Lowell Massachusetts. This event is designed for New England and New York prospects. Those selected from the June Showcase as well as other nominations which are accepted, will be featured in this elite event.

Blue-Grey - Battle of the Desert
Tempe Diablo Stadium Arizona – September 17th, 18th and 19th
The Battle of the States IV at Tempe Diablo Stadium and Complex, features prospects from 16 states in a showcase/tournament format. The event billed, as “The Battle of the Desert” will be attended by a host of colleges from all divisions as well as many Pro Scouts.

Blue-Grey – Virginia Classic Underclassmen
Liberty University VA – August 14th & 15th
This event is for underclassmen (2012 and 2013 grads), many of which emerge as college prospects to be recruited the following year.
CLASSIC SUCCESS RATE
During our seventeen years in promoting high school talent to the colleges, over 7200 of our prospects from Maine to Florida have gone on to partial or full baseball scholarships. We have also had 612 prospects drafted by Major League Baseball Clubs.
Nominations for Blue-Grey Classics (2009)
Nominations for the Blue-Grey Classics are currently being accepted. Submissions should be projected as Division I or II College or Pro Prospects. Players selected will be exempt from Regional Try-Outs.
