We discovered J.R. at our Battle of the States Underclassmen Showcase in December of 2006. This prospect is a still growing 6’3” 190lb hitting machine that plays an excellent first base. He also has tremendous potential as a pitcher topping out at 84 MPH. Projected out he could be high 80’s to low 90’s at some point during his high school career. A number of college coaches in Florida were impressed with his progress to this point at our event at the Devil Rays Complex.
J.R. will take his show north to Wake Forest University in August and will surely draw a great deal of interest from the recruiters in the Mid Atlantic. This is a hot prospect who will be recruited heavily this year!

We have had the pleasure of seeing Oscar perform at our tryouts at the University of Florida and also at the Blue-Grey Classic at Jacksonville University. This prospect is an outstanding hitter who hits for average and power. He has a very athletic build and shows better than average speed between the 6.85 to 6.95 range. He also is an outstanding base runner who is heads up at all times. Fielding wise, he can really fly in the outfield and makes outstanding catches and flashes a strong throwing arm. These baseball attributes, coupled with an all baseball attitude, will land him a solid Division I scholarship package. He also in our estimation, is a legitimate Draft pick probably in the 20^th to 30^th round. We obviously are extremely high on this fine prospect!!
