Freeman was evaluated at our showcase at the University of Cincinnati this past July. He is an impressive looking athlete at 6’2” 245lbs. On the mound he has a great presence and good command of the strike zone, with all his pitches – sharp breaking curve ball, excellent change up and slider. With 87 MPH velocity he is an underclassman to follow. As an outfielder he has excellent arm strength with good accuracy. Demonstrated outstanding power with great mechanics and quick bat at the dish. He brought a .461 BA school season with 7 HR’s with him from this past high school season. He is on everyone’s radar screens in Ohio.
