RJ is a ’09 graduate that attended our Showcase at Villanova University this past June.  Hitting velocity of 87 MPH and already at 6’1” 195lbs.  He will certainly increase the radar readings as he matures physically.  Demonstrated good command of the strike zone with a sharp curve ball and excellent change up.  As a catcher, showed excellent blocking skills, good foot work and a strong accurate arm with pop time of 1.98.  Works hard on his approach at the plate as a hitter and demonstrated good power to all fields.
