Jonathan is one of the hardest workers we’ve seen .  Always hustles and goes all out all of the time.  Good speed (7.3 60 yrd).  Fields his 2B/SS position exceptionally well.  Behind the plate he showed good blocking skills and mobility.  Good footwork and good arm (2.15) pop time).  A good contact type hitter using all fields.  He brought with him a .571 BA for last HS season and 20 RBI’s.  He hit 3 HR’s also.  With a .918 SLG and .633 OBP we see why he was selected All District (8-A) Team.  He was an MVP and Best Offensive Player in a tough league.

Brent was one of the best outfielders at the event.  Good speed (7.20 – has run faster than that).  Good strong throwing arm.  As a pitcher threw 85 MPH.  Tight breaking ball.  Fastball had good movement.  Good contact hitter, but also showed some power.  Moves runners along and has good RBI production (48 RBI’s last HS season).  Good all around player.

Scouting Report
Jordan showed a lot of promise as a catcher.  Decent speed (7.41), which he works hard on to improve and good pop time (2.03) which has been constantly getting better.  He will be a solid prospect.  Good feet and blocking skills.  Showed some power at the plate, hitting the alleys with some solid drives.  Could be a HR threat as he physically matures.  We feel he is an ’09 to follow closely.
