Patrick is your prototype power pitcher.  An ’09 graduate, 6’4" 245lbs with velocity already at 89 MPH.  Wow!  It was fun watching such a young player, so far along in his development.  He has good command of both sides of the plate.  Nice tight curve ball with an excellent change up also.  Definitely must follow Patrick as he matures.

At our VT Showcase this past August Jacob demonstrated outstanding defensive skills behind the plate.   Quick feet and excellent mobility provided the framework for good blocking skills.  A good arm (2.14 pop time) was accurate.  Brought with him a .415 BA with 25 RBI’s, 3 HR’s from summer league ball in a strong league.  Quick bat with a pop and power to the alleys.  Good extra base guy and a HR threat.

Bryan was an exciting player to watch at the showcase.  Although not large in stature, he was large on talent!  A smooth, fluid fielding 2B/SS with real soft hands and a strong arm.  Exceptional range at both positions.  At the plate, Bryan demonstrated a quick bat with good power.  Stayed behind the ball and loaded early.  Always a threat to take it out of the yard.  We feel Bryan was one of our best prospects.

Sammy Holloway shoed solid defensive skills, good blocking technique and a strong arm (1.95 pop time).  Takes control of the game and not hesitant about making throws to 1B and 3B.  A real hustler at all times.  A good hitter showing some power.  Quick hands, he stays behind the ball well.  Showed  a lot of patience and went with the pitch.  Only an ’09 he is projected to develop into a top notch catcher as he matures physically.  His pop times will sure to be in the 1.88 range.
